Tadpole: Beginning class for children ages 4-6 years.  
Teaches water acclimation and basic front, back, and
sidestroke techniques. A major emphasis is on the 'big arms'
swimming technique.
Prerequisites: Students must have enough confidence in the
water to do some swimming on their own. They will be asked
to hang onto pool wall when instructor isn't with them.

Minnow: Advanced beginner class for children ages 6 and
up. Continuation of skills learned prior to this level. Students
will be introduced to competitive side breathing freestyle and
taught the other three competitive strokes including, breast
stroke, backstroke and butterfly.
Prerequisites: Students must be comfortable jumping into
the water and treading water. They also must understand a
version of 'big arms' swimming.

Marlin: An intermediate course designed for children ages
7 and up. Swimmers learn to refine their strokes, build their
endurance and ultimately swim the 100 yd Individual Medley.
Competitive start techniques are introduced, as well as
continuation of aquatic survival techniques.
Prerequisites: Students must be able to swim 25 yards of
freestyle without any assistance.
